Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you (a parent or guardian) and Heynour for using heynour.com and the Heynour apps. Plain language on purpose; the short version is: be a parent, be fair, and we'll do the same. By creating an account you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Heynour
You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of every child you add. Heynour is designed for children aged 6 to 14, who use it only through a profile you created, under your supervision, and never hold an account of their own. At launch Heynour is offered to families in Saudi Arabia; we open another country only after reading its law. If you create an account for an organisation (a school or tutoring centre), you confirm you are allowed to bind it to these terms and have the consent of each child's parent.
2. Your account
You sign in with a code sent to your email, or with your Google or Apple account. Keep your email and devices secure, and keep your parent code and your children's PINs private. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us immediately at support@heynour.com if you think someone else has access. You can change PINs and sign out of every device from the parents' app.
3. What Heynour is — and isn't
Heynour is an AI learning companion. It answers a child's questions and explains things, helps them practise reading, maths and other school skills, guides them through homework without handing over answers, and reports to you. Heynour is not a teacher, tutor, therapist, doctor or babysitter, and does not replace school or your judgement. AI can make mistakes: Heynour may occasionally be wrong, misunderstand, or explain something in a way your child's school does differently. Please review the summaries and transcripts and correct it through your child's profile when needed.
4. Plans and payment
The Free plan costs nothing and has limits shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are per child, billed in advance through Stripe, renew automatically, and can be cancelled any time from the parents' app; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for. Fair-use limits apply to every plan so one account cannot make the service worse for others.
5. The store
You can buy products from the Heynour store; payment is always made by the parent. Prices include what is stated next to them, and delivery fees are shown before you pay. We deliver to the address you give through carriers. You can cancel an order before it ships. If a product arrives damaged or wrong, write to us within 14 days of receiving it and we will replace it or refund it. Products personalised with your child's name cannot be returned unless faulty.
6. Refunds
If something went wrong with the service, write to us within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it or make it right. Otherwise payments are non-refundable except where the law says so.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Heynour to harm, harass or deceive anyone; to try to access another family's data; to probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service; to feed it content that is illegal or inappropriate for children; or to resell it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
8. Your content
Everything you write into a profile, upload as a school file, tell Heynour about your child, or that your child says to Heynour or photographs, stays yours. You give us permission to process it to run the service for you, and to use the data of your account, including your child's conversations, to improve Heynour and to train and improve our models and the platform, as the Privacy Policy explains and with the safeguards it describes: we remove names and identifying details before training wherever we can, and what your child says is never written into our logs, web addresses or emails. We do not publish it or sell it, and we share it only with the providers needed to deliver the service, each under its own terms (Privacy Policy, section 7).
9. Our content
Heynour's name, logo, characters, design and software belong to us. You may use them only to use the service. Heynour's replies and pictures for your child are generated for your family's use; you may keep and share them privately.
10. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Heynour available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service; we may pause it for maintenance and we may improve, change or retire features. If we ever shut Heynour down, we will give at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your data.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Heynour is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you take based on Heynour's summaries or replies. Our total liability for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law gives you as a consumer.
12. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account from the parents' app at any time; this removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
14. Changes to these terms
We will email you at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continuing to use Heynour after that date means you accept the new terms; if you do not, delete your account before then.
